Renewable Energy
Alga2O has identified microalgae that produce high levels of oils and exopolysaccharides, which have rapid cellular multiplication and fragile wall. These are optimal conditions - in comparison with other oil plants and algae - to have faster and profitable production of those bioproducts, without the need of large areas of agricultural lands. Also, they may be harvested several times a year, in structures that can be installed in inert or relatively infertile soils.
